Hiring Procurement Manager - Substations

CLIENT: International EPC Contractor

JOB TYPE: Permanent / Long Term

QUALIFICATIONS: Regular Full Time Degree / Masters in Electrical Engineering

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 15 to 20 years in Substation + Oil & Gas projects

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Implementation of procurement plan / systems as per requirements.

2. Collecting material /equipment requirements including procurement schedule.

3. Interfacing and coordination through discussions & clarifications between suitable vendors (domestic / International), client and consultants.

4. Obtaining approval for out of registered vendors & other specialized agencies for construction materials, supply items, equipment etc.

5. Negotiation of prices & terms with suppliers.

6. Coordinating with supplier / engineering team for approval of tech data / Drawings /equipment and then finalize the purchase orders for plant/ materials.

7. Arrangement of logistics and other formalities.
