Dy. General Manager For Qatar

We are looking for INDIAN candidates for the position of Dy. General Manager for our client's business operations in Doha, Qatar. Our Client is a large business house having following divisions:

  • Construction Division
  • Oil & Gas Division
  • Engineering Division
  • Trading Division
  • Joint Ventures  

INDIAN candidates currently available in Qatar with NOC / Transferable Visa are also welcome to apply.

Candidate profile required:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 20 - 25 years of experience in similar field.
  • Familiar with construction, engineering, oil and gas, trading business in Qatar.
  • Affiliation to recognised professional engineering forums.
  • Familiar with all aspects of management such as construction management, project management, contract administration, financial management, HR, Supply chain, and Legal requirements etc. 
  • Manadatory Skills: 

The Candidate must be:

  • A strong leader and a strategist.
  • Has entrepreneurial mindset and commercial thinking.
  • Able to lead a diversified, multicultural management team.
  • Ability to influence and establish business relationship with current clients.
  • Strong in corporate governance.

Main responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for running a profitable business in all divisions.
  • Overall responsible for the day to day management and activities of the company.
  • Formulating strategies and business plans.
  • Responsible for monitoring company budgets.
  • Responsible for finances of the company such as cash flow, receivables from Clients, bank facilities, payables to contractors and sub-contractors etc.
  • Responsible for review organisation structure, make changes as per business requirements.
  • Encash new business opportunities and expand the business.
  • Retain current clients and attract new clients to flourish business.
  • Lead a team of division / department heads, provide clear direction and set KPIs. Follow up, monitor and ensure the KPIs are achieved in time.
  • Lead proposal, business development, tender management teams, provide necessary inputs for successful submission of bids and win projects.
  • Lead change management adopt business friendly changes as and when required.
  • Develop strategic business relationship and partnerships for new projects.
  • Lead successful business development.
  • Regular interaction with clients, subcontractors, their representatives, and manage relationship with all project stakeholders.
  • Improve and develop internal systems and procedures in the company.
  • Manage, periodically follow up on running project status.
  • Prepare necessary reports to the board of directors and the Chairman.
  • Involve in communication management.
  • Represent the company at various events.
  • Implement employee friendly policies.
